As an alternative to purchasing a Designer Dress off the rack, I approached Susan Tasker with a picture from a magazine and several other ideas.

Susan helped me design a wedding dress that was perfectly styled to my height and size, had all the details I envisaged and cost me around a third of the price of a Designer Dress. The quality of the dress was superb - every stitch and detail was precise and it fit like a glove.

Over a three month period I saw Susan at least once a week (sometimes twice), my Mum came with me occasionally and I found the process very calming. I could see every step taking place and could alter or adjust at any point. I don't believe that you get that sort of personalised service from a Designer Bridal Store.

My wedding day was fantastic and I felt fabulous. I would recommend Susan and the service she provides to anyone.

Finding the perfect wedding dress is the most important part of preparing for your wedding day. When I couldn't find my dream dress in a shop, I started looking for dressmakers. I chose Susan because she understood the picture in my head and was very easy to relate to. She designed exactly what I wanted and added special touches by making a dainty handbag and a ring cushion from my material. Susan has such a fun personality and takes the stress out of your wedding day. I was sad that our time together had to end!

I was recommended to Susie by a friend who was so delighted with her wedding gown she would not let me even look at a dress in the bridal shops. Susie did exactly what my friend said,,,she listened to what i said, suggested other ideas, showed me what styles would look like on my body, and let me have input all the way through the making. It was fun, and I looked forward to every fitting..the excitment of seeing the developments in the dress. I lost 12kilos over a 14month period, and I met susie when I was at my biggest. She designed an outfit for me that I loved, and would be my dream wedding vision. It gave me a goal to work towards, and I knew if I could get my body ready, susie could make me look great.And she did.I will never forget her support and companionship during that time, and the unbelievable result.I had the best wedding day.
